  • Who is Tenacious Yoga: My name is Tyler Hall, I am a licensed BSPTA, Certified Nutrition Coach and Certified Yoga Instructor through ISSA. I have worked in the field of Physical Therapy for many years in multiple settings as a Physical Therapy Assistant and have had the pleasure of working with the young and old, athletic and inactive, good and the bad of all different lifestyles, backgrounds, and medical diagnosis. In my years as a BSPTA I have noticed a common regret, many of my patient's wish they weren't wasting their lives with surgeries, medication and doctor's visits while succumbing to the idea that they cannot fix their situation. I've seen many good people's lives and health hindered and wasted due to illness and pain, with a mindset that they cannot fix the problem and accept their issues.
  • What is Tenacious Yoga:  I created and found Tenacious Yoga to teach others with a yoga style that focuses on mobility, balance, strength and core. I was once a much heavier, sicker, slower man with intense low back pain, very high blood pressure and a rather depressing outlook on life. Yoga is what fixed me, not therapy, medication or doctors. Yoga help me understand that anyone, anywhere, of any age can fix their life, and how vital it is for one to maintain good nutrition,  flexibility, balance and core strength to take control of their circumstance and regain control of the aspect of life they think they lost.
  • Vision of Tenacious Yoga: My goal with Tenacious Yoga is to help others through the POWERFUL art of yoga and nutrition add more years to their lives, reduce the chances of future illness, prevent unnecessary orthopedic surgeries,  and help good people discover the power to take control of their circumstance.
  • Mission of Tenacious Yoga: Tenacious is defined as never giving up, to keep a firm grip and not willing to relinquish. I want to help others like yoga helped me, to become TENACIOUS by refusing to relinquish their health and happiness by gripping the captain's seat of their medical ship.

What should I wear to a yoga session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Yoga mats and props are provided at our studio.

Do I need to have prior yoga experience?

Our classes are suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Modifications to all poses being performed all available to build strength and challenge you safetly.
